It can seem overwhelming to actually start eating healthy.
Literally almost everyone will tell you they would like to eat healthier. Of course, typically the next thing you will hear is one (or more) reasons why they really just can’t do that right now.
This is entirely understandable and a completely human thing to do – we are all busy and living in a comfort zone we have built to cope. The thought of change is VERY uncomfortable, and it’s just easier to dismiss it with a self-rationalization.
I would however suggest that for once you just try it for three weeks – not the end of the world, just an experiment to see how it goes.
Don’t think you will come back later and do it – I wrote about why this doesn’t really work in my recent post titled “Are You Hitting the Pause Button? (Hint: It’s Not Helping)” and I highly recommend reading that post in addition to this one.
This is not pass or fail – if you only make it a few days that is better than none at all – take a break, reset, and try for a few more days next time.
Each time you try you learn and grow, and it get’s easier. If it takes ten tries to make it the whole three weeks, who cares? Aas long as you get a little farther with each try you are building skills and habits that will serve you well for the rest of your life.

Don’t let the word “Paleo” scare you off – for the purposes of this experiment you don’t have to commit to a life of paleo-only foods. The key thing about “paleo friendly” menus is that they are made with real wholesome non-processed foods, which is what we really want to try with this experiment.
Just buy your ingredients for the week, and start in with the plan – It doesn’t get any easier than that unless you can afford a pre-made meal delivery service.
